Ray West – President
Ray’s association with music began in grade school and continues to present. In addition to participating in band (playing clarinet) and chorus throughout his school years, he was a member of the Litchfield Municipal Choir and performed in a quartet that performed at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. Ray sang and traveled with the MacMurray College Choir and was the leader of a dance band that performed throughout his home area. His breadth of experience in managing musical groups includes being Secretary and Business Agent for Local 282, American Federation of Musicians. More recently, Ray sang with the LCCC chorus under the direction of Nancy Welch, and was one of the founders of GRCS. He is currently a math teacher at East Middle School in Alton, IL. Ray’s duties include presiding over all meetings and assuming treasury responsibilities in the absence of the treasurer.

Gwen Robinson - Secretary
Gwen acts as the historian for GRCS, keeping copies of all articles from newspapers, programs, photographs, etc. In addition, she maintains the list of the board of directors and issues an annual report. Gwen is currently an Aviation Resource Management Specialist and has over 28 years of experience with the Federal Government in positions ranging from supervisory to managerial in the communications field.
