Nancy Welch, Music Director
Nancy has a Master of Arts, Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Music from Central Missouri State University. She is an accompanist for the Bethalto Public School district, Assistant Music Director of Bethel General Baptist Church and a private piano instructor and piano tuner Nancy has previously directed and accompanied the Lewis & Clark Community Concert Choir, was an instructor at LCCC for several music courses and was employed by Ankeny, Iowa public schools as a General Music Instructor.
As a paid music director, Nancy has supervisory control over the chorus and the accompanist. She conducts weekly rehearsals and directs all public performances. Along with the board of directors, she is responsible for planning each concert season including selecting the theme and music. In addition, she is a non-voting member of the board of directors.
